system information

Prio - added 4/28/2006

Prio allows you to save the priority you specify for any process. The priority of an application is a parameter that tells the system which task has priority over other tasks. Prio will save the applied changes and each time you start this process from now on, it will set the saved priority for it. You will not have to change the priority manually any more.

DTaskManager - added 4/18/2006

DTaskManager is, obviously, a Task-Manager (stand-alone) specifically engineered to give additional functionalities that the Windows bundled TaskManager (and other third party product) does not have such as for example allowing you to select more than one process at a time to terminate all of them.

Process Lasso - added 2/28/2006

Process Lasso is a unique new technology intended to automatically restrain running processes that are consuming too many CPU cycles. Often times, processes that are ‘out-of-control’ can bring an NT system to a near halt. Once one or more processes have become CPU resource hogs, termination of the offending process(es) is very difficult since it is nearly impossible to even open the task manager. With Process Lasso, these processes are temporarily reduced in priority so that the system is returned to a responsive level. Process Lasso can even work when multiple processes are responsible for a decrease in system responsiveness.

System Safety Monitor - added 12/20/2005

System Safety Monitor (SSM) allows you to track down Microsoft Windows operating system activity in real-time and to prevent undesirable actions from various malware and spyware programs. SSM’s main goal is to discover and block malicious actions of any application.

What’s Running - added 10/3/2005

What’s Running gives you an inside look into your Windows 2000/XP/2003 system. Explore processes, services, modules, IP-connections, drivers and much more through a simple to use application. Find out important information such as what modules are involved in a specific process. Control your system by starting and stopping services and processes. Configure your startup programs easily.

Process Controller - added 10/1/2005

Process Controller lets you monitor and control the activity and resources of your system in real time. With it you can see how much processing power and memory is currently being used in the system, quit any application, and view the memory usage, processor activity and windows created by any application.

Shed - added 7/12/2005

Shed works as a very fast Windows shared resource scanner. Multiple potential hosts are scanned in parallel and when a shared resource is encountered it is enumerated in a separate thread for maximum efficiency.
