Ping a Ding Ding is a ping sweeper program which alerts you when a server is down. It makes a variety of customizable sounds and includes packets sent, received and lost figures as well as min, max and average trip times.

PingPlotter is a network troubleshooting and diagnostic tool. It uses a combination of traceroute, ping, and whois to collect data quickly, and then allows you to continue to collect data over time to give you the information you really need to identify problems (both short-term and long-term trends).

Alive pings the specified host and returns an errorlevel indicating success or the reason for failure. /repeat and /timeout are optional parameters, the default repeat (# of attempts) value is 5 and the default timeout is 4 seconds. The program will terminate with an errorlevel 0 when it senses a successful ping regardless of the /repeat value.
